
Colonel Nguyen Duc Cuong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Military Party Committee, Political Commissar of Lao Cai Provincial Military Command attended and chaired the launching ceremony.
Also attending the launching ceremony were heads of departments, officers and soldiers of the Lao Cai Provincial Military Command.
At the launching ceremony, the Lao Cai Provincial Military Command promoted the traditional friendship, comprehensive, loyal and pure cooperation between Vietnam and Cuba; the great achievements that the Cuban people have achieved in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland, as well as the special affection, support and assistance that the Cuban people have given to the Vietnamese people in the resistance wars to defend the Fatherland.
On behalf of the Lao Cai Provincial Military Command, Colonel Hoang Van Toan - Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command launched and requested each officer and soldier to participate in responding and supporting the Cuban people with a spirit of volunteerism, responsibility and according to each individual's conditions.

He emphasized: During the years of resistance against the US to save the country, the Cuban people always stood shoulder to shoulder, giving Vietnam great help both materially and spiritually. Today, in the face of difficulties, the Cuban people still need the joint efforts of international friends, including Vietnam. With sincere feelings and a spirit of volunteerism, officers and soldiers of the provincial armed forces actively participated in donating and supporting, considering this a practical action demonstrating the tradition of pure international solidarity.




Donating to support the Cuban people is not only a charitable activity, but also an opportunity to educate cadres and soldiers on the value of the pure international solidarity of the Vietnamese people towards the brotherly Cuban people.
