Ministry of Science and Technology honored to receive Certificate of Merit from Prime Minister at National Achievement Exhibition

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the National Achievements Exhibition with the theme: "80 years of the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness", Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh affirmed that the Exhibition was a great success, exceeding expectations and expectations, shining with the spirit of "Solidarity - Intelligence - Strength - Glory - Pride that we are Vietnamese".

On the evening of September 15, at the National Exhibition Fair Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi ), the Closing Ceremony of the National Achievement Exhibition "80 Years of Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" took place.

This is the largest exhibition ever held in Vietnam, with the participation of 28 ministries, central agencies, 34 localities and more than 110 large enterprises and economic groups. Through more than 230 exhibition spaces, the Exhibition introduced the achievements of nearly 180 industries in various fields over the past 80 years of the country.

After 19 days of opening, the Exhibition of 80 Years of National Achievements attracted about 10 million visitors. That success has contributed to spreading the image of a peaceful , united and aspiring country.

The exhibition is held on an area of nearly 260,000m² including indoor and outdoor display spaces. The exhibition area is divided into 6 themes, closely related to the country's development journey such as: Vietnam - Country - People; 95 years of the Party Flag lighting the way; Creation and development; Economic locomotive; National start-up; Rich province, strong country.

Through modern forms and technology, with many documents, materials, artifacts, machinery and equipment, documentaries and reports, the Exhibition vividly and comprehensively reflects the outstanding achievements of the country over the past 80 years; depicts the glorious history of the nation and the great achievements of the country in the cause of construction, innovation and international integration.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, the Prime Minister emphasized: The exhibition "80 years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" affirms that the Party's leadership is the leading factor deciding all successes of the Vietnamese revolution.

According to the Prime Minister, all exhibition spaces vividly recreate and honor the heroic revolutionary history and outstanding achievements of the country under the talented and wise leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam since its founding, especially in the 80 years since gaining national independence, unifying the country, building and defending the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland.

According to the Prime Minister, the exhibition "80 years of the Journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" affirms the strength of great national unity. That is the source of great strength of the Vietnamese revolution, expressed through the teachings of beloved Uncle Ho "Unity, unity, great unity - Success, success, great success" and the spirit of "turning nothing into something, turning difficult into easy, turning impossible into possible", helping us win in long-term resistance wars; overcome countless difficulties of the cause of innovation, integration and development; overcome crises, natural disasters, epidemics, shine the spirit of self-reliance; constantly consolidate the country's potential.

This exhibition also clearly demonstrates the spirit of national solidarity, "comradely love and compatriotic affection" through rich and vivid content and attractive and engaging presentation imbued with the unique culture of the community of 54 ethnic groups from all over our beloved country.

At the Closing Ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh awarded Certificates of Merit to many collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in organizing and participating in the exhibition, including the Ministry of Science and Technology.
