Before the rehearsal (August 30) and the official parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2), on the morning of August 29, Hanoi City Police arranged priority areas for veterans and the elderly along the parade routes.
More than 5 thousand seats in priority areas. |
Accordingly, priority areas were set up on Hung Vuong Street, Tran Phu Street, Trang Tien Street, Nha Chung Street... These areas were located in ideal locations, close to the road, so that veterans and the elderly could fully and solemnly follow the upcoming A80 Anniversary rehearsal.
A representative of the Hanoi City Police said: This is a practical action showing deep gratitude for the great contributions of previous generations, especially for veterans - those who did not hesitate to sacrifice their blood for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
This is also part of the work of ensuring security and order and serving the people at major national events, contributing to creating a solemn, warm atmosphere, connecting generations at events of historical significance.
