Professional training, teaching intangible culture in Nhu Thanh district

On the morning of October 23, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism opened a training course on professional development and teaching of intangible culture in Nhu Thanh district.

The training course was attended by 80 trainees who are cultural officials of the commune, village elders, village chiefs, artisans and people who understand the intangible cultural values ​​in Nhu Thanh district.

Overview of the training class

During the 4 days (from October 23 to 26), the lecturers taught students a number of key topics such as: Skills to propagate, introduce and promote the intangible culture of ethnic minorities in Nhu Thanh district to serve tourism development. Methods to preserve, promote and introduce intangible culture at tourist sites. The role of intangible culture in the lives of ethnic minorities. Introduction to the origin and value of folk culture forms of ethnic minorities in the district; folk games; traditional festivals and ways to preserve and maintain. Introduction and teaching of traditional costumes of ethnic minorities (patterns, color palettes, symbolism, meaning of pattern creation and color...); traditional occupations; ways to preserve and maintain traditional costumes of ethnic minorities. Practice and teach skills in weaving, embroidering patterns, sewing and wearing traditional costumes of ethnic minorities; skills in performing folk cultural forms; skills in preserving and creating tourism products from intangible cultural forms to serve tourism development, combined with practical experience at the locations.

The training course was organized to implement Plan No. 105/KH-UBND dated April 23, 2024 of the Provincial People's Committee on implementing the National Target Program on socio -economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in 2024 in Thanh Hoa province; Plan No. 2818/KH-SVHTTDL dated June 13, 2024 of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism on organizing training, professional development, teaching intangible culture of ethnic minorities in Thanh Hoa province under Project 6, National Target Program on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in Thanh Hoa province.
