All three companies in the Apec "family" announced that they had no activities related to the recently announced stock manipulation case.
The announcements from the three companies mentioned above all stated that the above incident has absolutely no impact or change to the long-term orientations or normal operations of the company. At the same time, it does not affect the rights and legitimate interests of customers, shareholders and partners who are transacting and cooperating with the company.
Upon receiving the information, the company's board of directors held a meeting and quickly put forward measures and plans to ensure stable business operations in the new situation, in accordance with the set goals and plans. Currently, the case is still under investigation and there is no official conclusion. All three companies affirmed that when there is specific information, they will update fully and promptly.
On June 23, 2023, the State Securities Commission announced that the Investigation Security Agency - Hanoi City Police Department had decided to prosecute the criminal case of stock manipulation that occurred at the above 3 companies. The State Securities Commission requested APS, IDJ and API to disclose information as prescribed and report to the State Securities Commission and the Stock Exchange as prescribed by law.
On the stock market, API, IDJ or APS are known as stocks belonging to the Apec (Apec Group) family. At the end of 2021, the State Securities Commission fined Apec Group Corporation VND 600 million for issuing "illegal" bonds.
