Provincial leaders congratulate Thanh Hoa Bishop's House on Christmas

On the afternoon of December 16, the Thanh Hoa Diocese Bishop's House held a ceremony to celebrate Christmas 2024 and New Year 2025.

On behalf of the Bishop's House and the parishioners of Thanh Hoa Diocese, Bishop Nguyen Duc Cuong, Chairman of the Justice and Peace Commission of the Vietnamese Bishops' Council, Bishop of Thanh Hoa Diocese expressed his sincere and deep gratitude to the leaders of Thanh Hoa province, Party committees, authorities at all levels, departments, branches and organizations of Thanh Hoa province for always paying attention and creating the most favorable conditions for the development and advancement of Thanh Hoa Diocese.

Bishop Nguyen Duc Cuong affirmed: Implementing the guidelines of the Vietnam Bishops' Council, Thanh Hoa Catholics will continue to promote the fine traditions of their homeland; together with Party committees, authorities, and the Fatherland Front at all levels, build and consolidate the great national unity bloc; take care to build a life of "good life, good religion"; join hands and unite to build Thanh Hoa homeland to become increasingly rich, beautiful, and civilized.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Do Minh Tuan sent to Bishop Nguyen Duc Cuong, priests, monks and Catholics of Thanh Hoa province wishes for health, happiness, peace and fullness of God's grace during Christmas 2024 and New Year 2025.

Affirming the closeness, solidarity and sincere affection between Party committees and authorities at all levels with the Thanh Hoa Diocese Bishop's Office in the common mission of caring for the material and spiritual life of people of all walks of life in the province, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: The outstanding achievements of Thanh Hoa province in 2024 have important contributions from nearly 160,000 Catholics under the leadership of Bishop Nguyen Duc Cuong and priests and religious in Thanh Hoa Diocese.

In a warm and friendly atmosphere, on behalf of the provincial leaders, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed his hope and belief that Bishop Nguyen Duc Cuong will continue to care for and guide the dignitaries, officials and Catholic compatriots of Thanh Hoa Diocese to well implement the Party's policies and the State's laws; actively participate in patriotic emulation movements; build great national and religious unity; continue volunteer and charitable work, bring love to people in difficult circumstances, contributing to making Thanh Hoa province increasingly stable and developed.
