In the first 6 months of the year, the Elderly Association at all levels has closely followed the political tasks of the province, effectively implementing the Association's tasks. On the occasion of Tet, the Elderly Association at all levels coordinated with departments, branches and organizations to visit, give gifts, celebrate longevity and wish longevity to over 69,000 elderly people in the province; and implemented the elderly protection regime in a timely, adequate and guaranteed manner.

Implementing the program "Bright eyes for the elderly", 148,705 elderly people were screened for eye diseases; of which 9,705 had cataract surgery.
