Hanoi has just announced the 10th grade public school admission benchmark scores for 2024.
This year, the benchmark score for grade 10 has decreased significantly compared to 2023. Some schools have decreased sharply by 2-3 points. In particular, Doan Ket High School, Hai Ba Trung district, has decreased by 16.75 points from 40 to 23.75.
In the 12 inner-city districts of Hanoi, some high schools have benchmark scores ranging from 35 to under 38 points, with an average of 7-7.6 points/subject.

In suburban districts, this year's benchmark scores also decreased compared to 2023.
This year, Hanoi assigned the 10th grade enrollment target to 119 public high schools to recruit 1,657 new classes and 73,695 students.
Of which, 4 specialized schools and specialized classes recruited 82 new classes and 2,970 students.
8 autonomous public high schools recruit 85 new classes and 3,555 students.
The total target is 77,250 students. Compared to 2023, the total target increased by more than 1,500 students.
In addition, Hanoi also has four specialized high schools affiliated with universities, helping to increase the number of public school places in the entire city to about 81,000.
