Cam Giang district proposed to consider recognizing 3 advanced new rural communes, namely Tan Truong, Cam Dien and Ngoc Lien; 3 model new rural communes, namely Dinh Son, Cam Van and Cam Doai. According to the district's assessment, the above communes have all completed the prescribed criteria, have no outstanding construction debt, and have an average income per capita of 70 - 78 million VND/year...

In 2023, the last 4 communes of Cam Giang district registered to reach the advanced new rural finish line are: Tan Truong, Cam Dien, Ngoc Lien and Thach Loi. However, Thach Loi commune is in the process of merging with Cam Giang town in 2024, so it is not proposed to the province for recognition but aims to build according to civilized urban standards.

Up to now, Cam Giang district has had 11 communes meeting advanced new rural standards, including 3 model new rural communes: Duc Chinh, Cao An and Cam Dong.
