According to the Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects for Traffic and Agricultural Works of Bac Giang Province, the Ha Bac 2 Road and Bridge Construction Project connects the second branch of Ring Road IV in Bac Giang Province with Yen Phong Industrial Park and National Highway 18 in Bac Ninh Province.

To date, Bac Giang province has completed the construction of the Ha Bac 2 approach road and bridge. The project has a total investment of more than 350 billion VND.

The project has a total length of about 2 km. The road section in Bac Giang is about 1.3 km long, the bridge is nearly 500 m long. The road section in Bac Ninh is more than 101 m long.

The starting point at Km0+00 (intersecting with Ring Road IV at Km 11+00) is in Dong Lo commune, Hiep Hoa district, Bac Giang province, forming a crossroads with Ring Road IV; the ending point at Km2+00 is in Dung Liet commune, Yen Phong district, Bac Ninh province, connecting to the DT.277B road construction investment project.

Ha Bac 2 Bridge connecting Bac Giang and Bac Ninh provinces contributes to facilitating economic and social development and attracting investment in the two provinces.

The road section is invested and built according to the level III plain standard with a road surface width of 11m. Complete investment in the foundation, road surface, asphalt concrete road surface structure on crushed stone aggregate foundation. Complete drainage system, traffic safety system, and junctions. Total length of the road section is about 1.5km.

The entire project on the Bac Giang side has been basically completed. Currently, Ha Bac 2 Bridge is only waiting for the access road on the Bac Ninh side to be completed and put into use.

Because we have to wait for Bac Ninh province to complete the approach road, Ha Bac 2 bridge has been completed but is still abandoned.

Ha Bac 2 Bridge is waiting for the approach road on the Bac Ninh side to be completed and put into use, contributing to the economic and social development and convenient travel of people in Bac Giang and Bac Ninh provinces.
