The Truong Son missile complex and the S-125-VT missile complex are weapons researched, produced, improved, and modernized by Vietnam and will appear in the parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day, September 2 (A80).

For over a month now, the military parades and marching groups in the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 (mission A80) have had 4 general training sessions at the National Military Training Center 4 (Hanoi). In addition to 16,000 soldiers from 43 marching groups and 18 standing groups, many modern military equipment in the Vietnam People's Army's roster continue to appear.

The S-125-VT air defense missile system, researched, improved, and modernized by Viettel, has outstanding advantages in terms of fast maneuverability, destroying targets from further away, and longer combat effectiveness.

S-125-VT is designed to destroy airborne attack vehicles, effectively destroying low-flying, small-sized targets in complex interference conditions.

In addition, this complex is capable of destroying ground and water targets, operating independently or in air defense cluster formations.

According to the parameters announced at the 2024 International Defense Exhibition, the S-125-VT has a maximum speed of 800 m/s and can destroy 2 targets at the same time with a maximum damage range of up to 30 km. The probability of destroying fighter aircraft is up to 90%. In addition, the S-125-VT can detect targets at a distance of 90 km.
