Currently, Dong Nai province is coordinating with localities to implement regional transport infrastructure projects such as building road bridges including: Cat Lai, Dong Nai 2, Hieu Liem, Thanh Hoi, Xom La, Tan An, Tan Hien connecting with Ho Chi Minh City; Ma Da bridge and the connecting route to Ring Road 4 - Ho Chi Minh City. With these projects, the budget capital of Dong Nai province participating in the projects is more than 24 trillion VND.

In addition, to implement regional traffic connection projects, Dong Nai province's budget must also be allocated to participate in other projects including: 50% of the cost of site clearance for the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project (more than 3 trillion VND); 50% of the total investment for the Ring Road 3 Project - Ho Chi Minh City (nearly 2 trillion VND); participating in the state budget for the Ring Road 4 Project - Ho Chi Minh City (more than 14 trillion VND); participating in the provincial budget for the Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh Expressway Project (about 474 billion VND), participating in the provincial budget for the Gia Nghia - Chon Thanh Expressway Project (more than 1.2 trillion VND); upgrading and expanding National Highway 14, Dong Xoai - Chon Thanh section (more than 1.4 trillion VND); upgrading and expanding Provincial Road 753 (247 billion VND).

At the same time, to strengthen the connection between localities in the province and Long Thanh Airport, Dong Nai province is also implementing projects to upgrade, expand and build provincial roads 769, 773, 770B with a total investment of about 18 trillion VND.

In order to have conditions to continue investing in construction and upgrading and repairing important traffic projects, Dong Nai province has proposed that the Central Government consider supporting the locality with a budget of more than 22 trillion VND. Specifically, supporting a budget of more than 1.3 trillion VND to repair national highways through the province; supporting a capital of more than 9.3 trillion VND for the Cat Lai Bridge Project and supporting a capital of about 11.3 trillion VND for the Ma Da Bridge Project and the road leading from Ma Da Bridge to Ring Road 4 - Ho Chi Minh City.
