Soil moisture models show that some areas in the province are near saturation (over 80%) or have reached saturation.
The provincial Hydrometeorological Station warns that in the coming time, areas in the province will continue to have rain with accumulated rainfall ranging from 5-15mm in some areas, and over 40mm in some places. Heavy rain will pose a high risk of flash floods on small rivers and streams; landslides in steep terrain, areas with weak and unstable soil and rock structures, construction works and flooding in low-lying areas, along rivers and streams, and urban flooding.

Flash floods, landslides, land subsidence and inundation can have very negative impacts on the environment, threaten people's lives; cause local traffic congestion, affect the movement of vehicles; destroy structures and cause damage to economic and social activities.
Local authorities should pay attention to checking flow bottlenecks and key locations in the area to take preventive and response measures.
