Cao Bang receives the Award "Effective Operational Model of the UNESCO Global Geoparks Network"

VHO - On September 11, within the framework of the 11th International Conference of the UNESCO Global Geoparks Network (GGN) in the Republic of Chile, Non Nuoc Cao Bang UNESCO Global Geopark was honored to be one of the five Geoparks to receive the Award "Effective Operational Model of the UNESCO Global Geoparks Network" from the GGN Executive Board Representative.

The award is a recognition of the pioneering efforts of Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark in managing, implementing activities and preserving the culture and languages ​​of ethnic groups in the Geopark area, contributing to building an effective and dynamic network. At the same time, it encourages and honors innovative initiatives in managing and implementing activities at UNESCO Global Geoparks.

The GGN Executive Board highly appreciates the efforts of Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark in implementing UNESCO experts' recommendations on education , raising public awareness and preserving and promoting the languages ​​of ethnic minorities.

The award is also an important motivation for Cao Bang to continue promoting initiatives, replicating successful models, while promoting heritage education, raising public awareness and promoting unique cultural values ​​in the Cao Bang Non Nuoc Geopark to domestic and foreign friends.
