Vietnam Pavilion at EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai is organized and operated by the Department of International Cooperation (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism).
With the theme of a Human-Centered Inclusive Society , the Vietnam Exhibition Hall is divided into three main areas: traditional, modern and future.
Vivid experience space
Vietnam Exhibition House offers many exciting activities, creating opportunities for visitors to both visit and directly experience unique culture.
The highlight of the Exhibition House is the way of telling stories through the language of art, from traditional costumes, folk music to modern projection technology, helping international friends feel a Vietnam that is both familiar and new.
Performances, exchanges and experiences of traditional crafts also attract a large audience, turning the exhibition space into a cultural meeting place.
This is not only a place to promote the country's image, but also affirms Vietnam's vision of sustainable development, linking culture with people.
Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung emphasized that at EXPO 2025, Vietnam will not only introduce outstanding socio -economic achievements, but also convey the humanistic spirit, unique cultural values and the spiritual beauty of the Vietnamese people.
“The exhibition space harmoniously combines tradition and modernity, bringing a vivid experience, contributing to fully expressing the spirit of a comprehensive, people-centered society that Vietnam wants to spread at this event,” Minister Nguyen Van Hung expressed.
The entire Exhibition Hall space is covered in a "coat" of brilliant cultural colors, bringing characteristic colors and rich national identity.
At the experience space for making clay figurines, artisan Dang Dinh Thuong not only demonstrates his skillful molding techniques but also directly guides international visitors to try their hand at the traditional craft.
Small toothpicks and handfuls of colored powder, seemingly simple, become the shapes of animals and folk characters through the talented hands of artisans, leaving many foreign visitors in awe.
Artisan Dang Dinh Thuong shared: “To he is not only a toy associated with the childhood of many generations of Vietnamese people, but also a handicraft rich in symbolism, containing the quintessence of folk culture. To me, each to he product carries a part of the Vietnamese soul.
Therefore, I hope that this traditional craft will not only be preserved domestically but also spread to international friends, so that they can better understand the sophistication and enduring vitality of Vietnamese culture."
Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism), Deputy General Representative of Vietnam at EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai (Japan) Tran Nhat Hoang said: "In just about 1 month, EXPO 2025 will officially close, so we hope that the audience will soon come to the Vietnam Exhibition House, continue to have journeys, experiences, and connections here to together create useful things for our own lives.
"When there are conditions to get to know each other, cooperation between Vietnam and its partners will be more favorable," Mr. Tran Nhat Hoang shared.
