The Quang Nam Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board said that the Provincial People's Committee has set a deadline of May 2024 to hand over the site to the unit implementing the construction of the Nam Quang Nam Solid Waste Treatment Area project, the item of the Domestic Solid Waste Treatment Area using the sanitary landfill method.

To complete on time, the Provincial People's Committee requested the People's Committee of Nui Thanh district, relevant sectors, units and localities in the district to coordinate to complete the compensation plan, support site clearance, submit for appraisal, approval and make payments to households according to regulations.

The Provincial People's Committee also requested the locality to direct contractors to speed up the construction progress of the access road, creating conditions for the construction of the Nam Quang Nam Solid Waste Treatment Area project, item: Solid Waste Treatment Area

In addition, the locality coordinated and supported the investor to mobilize households in the area to use the temporary road to serve the construction work while waiting for the completion of the road to the Nam Quang Nam Solid Waste Treatment Area.

The investor actively coordinates with the People's Committee of Nui Thanh district, relevant units and localities of Nui Thanh district in the process of implementing compensation and site clearance for the project. At the same time, complete the design documents of construction drawings - project estimates and actively coordinate work, provide documents and explain related contents (if any) to the Department of Construction and Industry and Trade during the process of checking and appraising documents.

The Department of Planning and Investment coordinates with relevant sectors and units to inspect and advise the Provincial People's Committee to consider and arrange additional capital to complete the project in 2023 - 2024 as requested by the Quang Nam Provincial Construction Investment Management Board.
