The rate of collected and treated domestic solid waste reached 98.8%.

According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment, since the beginning of the year, no new seriously polluting establishments have been established in the province; the rate of collected and treated domestic solid waste has reached 98.8%; 100% of establishments causing serious environmental pollution have been thoroughly treated. In addition, the Department of Agriculture and Environment has organized on-site inspections of waste treatment systems at 36 establishments, of which 26 are in the trial operation phase. Total fees collected from wastewater reached more than VND3.64 billion, reaching 45.5% of the yearly plan. Regarding emissions, the department has appraised the environmental protection fee declarations of 81 establishments, collecting nearly VND78 million.

On average, each month, localities in the province collect and treat about 70,000 tons of solid waste, contributing significantly to environmental sanitation and sustainable development...
