In the quarterfinals taking place at 6:40 p.m. today, Nguyen Hai Dang will face No. 4 seed Panitchaphon Teeraratsakul (Thailand, ranked 39th in the world). This 21-year-old player is the men's singles champion of the 2025 Vietnam Open badminton tournament and is on the rise. His opponent is rated higher, but Ho Chi Minh City player Nguyen Hai Dang is expected to play explosively. If he defeats his opponent, Nguyen Hai Dang will win the right to enter the semi-finals of the Al Ain Masters badminton tournament for the first time and also advance to the semi-finals of a tournament in the World Tour Super 100 system for the first time.
