BOS Securities suspended securities trading activities

ANTD.VN - BOS Securities has been suspended from buying securities on HOSE and HNX due to being placed under control.

The Vietnam Stock Exchange (VNX) has just issued a decision to partially suspend the operations of BOS Securities Joint Stock Company. Accordingly, BOS Securities is suspended from purchasing securities on the listed securities market and the registered trading market at the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange and the Hanoi Stock Exchange.

The reason is that BOS Securities has been placed under control by the State Securities Commission. The suspension period is from February 17, 2025 until this securities company is removed from control.

BOS Securities' business activities decline after the FLC case

Notably, this is the second time this securities company has received a decision to suspend its securities purchasing activities. Previously, in August 2023, BOS Securities also received a similar decision from VNX on the grounds that the company violated its reporting and information disclosure obligations as a member and had not yet remedied the violation.

BOS Securities is a company belonging to the FLC ecosystem. This securities company is where the shocking stock manipulation case involving FLC stocks, led by Mr. Trinh Van Quyet, took place.

In May 2024, the State Securities Commission revoked the certificate of eligibility to trade in derivative securities and the certificate of eligibility to provide derivative securities clearing and settlement services of this enterprise.

By October 2024, BOS Securities will continue to be placed under control by the State Securities Commission due to failure to meet financial safety standards.
