The 2025 “Independence Star” program has the theme “For a prosperous Vietnam”

In celebration of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025), National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Forces' Tradition Day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025), the Editorial Board of the Communist Magazine, the Ministry of Public Security presided over and coordinated with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Hanoi Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee to organize the art and political program "Independence Star" in 2025 (year 10) with the theme "For a prosperous Vietnam".

Since 2016, “Independence Star” has become an annual art program, eagerly awaited by many veteran revolutionaries, intellectuals, party members and the masses during the autumn days of August.

The program was selected to honor the nation's noble cultural and historical values; the patriotism and indomitable will of generations of heroic Vietnamese people who sacrificed and devoted themselves to the independence and freedom of the Fatherland under the leadership of the glorious Communist Party of Vietnam ; and at the same time, emphasize the great achievements over the past eight decades, especially in nearly 40 years of the country's Renovation.

Through that, the program demonstrates the determination of the entire Party, army and people to bring the country into a new era - the era of national growth, realizing the dreams of building a socialist Vietnam, a rich people, strong country, democracy, fairness and civilization.

The 2025 “Independence Star” political art program includes 3 chapters: “Under the majestic flag of the flying yellow star” (Aspiration for Independence - Freedom); “Journey to build peace ” (Innovation and action, building a happy nation); “Aspiration for a prosperous Vietnam” (Continuing tradition, creating the future, building a rich, prosperous, and powerful nation).

With 15 multi-genre art performances, such as singing - dancing - music - commentary, combining sound, light, hologram technology images, leze, led3D..., the program is both historical, traditional, folk and combined with the creative colors of contemporary art technology.

“Independence Star” 2025 brings together many famous and beloved artists such as People's Artist Pham Phuong Thao, Meritorious Artist Hoang Tung, Meritorious Artist Vu Thang Loi, singers Anh Tu, Dong Hung, Hoang Bach, Do To Hoa, Ha An Huy, Viet Danh, Hoang Hong Ngoc, Minh Thuy, Bui Hoang Yen...

The program promises to bring to the audience nationwide heroic and touching moments, with pride, gratitude, faith and aspiration to rise up strongly and join hands to build the country. That aspiration has been fueling the traditional fire so that today's generations continue to overcome difficulties and challenges, unite, build and protect our country to become increasingly rich, prosperous, civilized and happy.

In addition to being broadcast live on VTV1, the program is also broadcast on Hanoi Radio and Television, People's Police Television (ANTV) and spread on other social media.
