Transforming the food system from production, processing, distribution to consumption towards transparency, responsibility and sustainability

Pursuant to the direction of the Prime Minister in Decision No. 300/QD-TTg dated March 28, 2023 approving the National Action Plan on transforming the food system to be transparent, responsible and sustainable in Vietnam by 2030, the People's Committee of Son La province determined: Transforming the food system from production, processing, distribution to consumption in a transparent, responsible and sustainable direction, based on the advantages and in accordance with the socio-economic situation of Son La province, ensuring food security and nutritional security; improving people's income and quality of life; preventing and combating natural disasters and epidemics, protecting the environment, and responding to climate change. By 2030, implement specific targets related to rural residents, multidimensional poor households, malnutrition rates, overweight and obesity in children under 5 years old, food poisoning rates, areas with codes for growing areas, farming areas..., and assign tasks to departments, branches and commune-level People's Committees to implement.
