On February 17, in Hanoi, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Le Minh Hoan chaired a spring meeting with agricultural entrepreneurs and units operating OCOP product introduction channels on e-commerce platforms. The meeting's theme was "From an experiential economic mindset towards a higher value ladder in the Vietnamese agricultural product industry chain".

Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Le Minh Hoan shared his views on agricultural economics and experiential economics at the meeting on February 17.

In the spirit of shifting from agricultural production thinking to agricultural economic thinking, Minister Le Minh Hoan said that the current trend of goods production and service business focuses on human factors, especially consumer emotions, towards the spirit rather than the material. For example, in Thailand, consumers in this country are now coming up with the concepts of "happy eating", "happy food"... Products are researched from packaging, images, graphics to customer targets.

The same products are medicines, foods, drinks… for the elderly, but businesses target young people who want to buy them as gifts for their grandparents and parents with the words printed on the packaging “respectful gifts for grandparents”, “respectful gifts for parents”. “Do not focus on taking money from customers, but on taking their hearts”, Minister Le Minh Hoan shared.
