The movie "The Rich Bride" opens in theaters on October 18, bringing refreshing laughter and satirizing the habit of using canvas.

The bride of a wealthy family follows Tu Lac (Uyen An) - a girl from a poor background who wants to quickly change her life by marrying into a wealthy family.
She set up a scam for her entire family, deceiving the family of young master Bao Hoang (Samuel An) and his mother, Mrs. Phuong (Thu Trang). The scam with many uncertainties revealed deep conflicts between social classes.
Good idea, launched at the right time
When releasing the film, director Vu Ngoc Dang shared: "The story of rich and poor has been exploited in many other films around the world . I think that topic is of interest and sympathy everywhere."
This is a strong point when the film has authentic material to exploit, but it also puts invisible pressure on the production crew when having to create new colors and unique marks.
Vu Ngoc Dang did not disappoint the audience when he handled the storyline quite well. The film was not noisy or full of physical jokes, but the attraction of the film lies in possessing a cast of characters with distinctive personalities and appearances, easily entering the audience's memory.

In the film, the three families represent three different social classes: the deep and tactful old rich, the arrogant and boastful nouveau riche, and the poor at the bottom of society.
The conflicts are portrayed quite realistically, from many different perspectives to give a multi-dimensional, objective view; no one is completely good and no one is completely evil.

Although the character's psychological development journey is sometimes "broken", the film still creates curiosity and keeps the audience interested until the end. In the third act, the "twist" is also very surprising, revealing the difficult-to-resolve conflicts between people from different social classes.
Vu Ngoc Dang went all out in his satire, he spared no character. Everyone has bad habits and deviant thoughts that lead to scandals and everyone has to pay the price for their wrong choices.
The film was released at the right time when recently the tarpaulin habit has been a prominent topic of interest to young people and is being hotly discussed on social networks.
The charm comes from the cast
With a star cast like Kieu Minh Tuan, Le Giang, Thu Trang, People's Artist Hong Van..., the film easily creates rhythmic juggling scenes.
In particular, Kieu Minh Tuan and Le Giang play husband and wife for the first time. Although they have a big age gap, they still create a "broken mirror reunited" couple that is both clumsy and adorable, bringing hearty laughter.

While Kieu Minh Tuan and Le Giang maximized their comedic talents, Thu Trang showed absolute restraint when playing the role of Mrs. Phuong. Transforming into a rich, domineering woman, the actress showed a transformation compared to the humorous roles that made her famous before.
In the climax of the film, Mrs. Phuong plays a key role, Thu Trang fully portrayed the character's complex inner turmoil.

As for the female lead Uyen An, she showed maturity in acting and analyzing the character's psychology. Tu Lac is a difficult role, "half good, half evil".
The young girl has many lovable traits in her personality but is impulsive and is willing to deceive the person she loves because of her greed for wealth. Each audience will have their own way of decoding and perceiving this character.
According to many viewers, The bride of a wealthy family Unfortunately, the characters' plans were clumsy and lacked logic, giving the feeling that Mrs. Phuong's family was too easily fooled. The twist at the end of the movie was good, but the resolution was still forced.
The movie will be released in theaters nationwide from today, October 18, 2024.
