During the 80-year journey of building, fighting and growing, together with the People's Public Security force of the whole country, right from the first days of gaining power, the Public Security organization in the two provinces of Tuyen Quang and Ha Giang was soon formed. In January 1946, the Department of Integrity - the first organization of the Ha Giang Public Security was officially established and put into operation. In Tuyen Quang, the predecessor organization was the Anti-Treason Board (later changed to the Department of Integrity) which was established in August 1945. In July 1946, the Tuyen Quang Public Security Department was established on the basis of merging the Department of Integrity and the Police Department.
Delivering a speech at the ceremony, Major General Nguyen Duc Thuan, Director of the Provincial Police Department, affirmed that under the leadership of the Party and the Central Police Department, the Tuyen Quang and Ha Giang Police forces have continuously grown and developed through the resistance wars against French colonialism and the US to save the country. During the resistance war against France, Tuyen Quang was chosen as the "Capital of Resistance", marking many silent feats in protecting the safety of Central agencies, Uncle Ho and senior leaders. Despite hardships and dangers, the police officers and soldiers were steadfast, united, and ready to sacrifice for national independence, absolutely protecting the safety of President Ho Chi Minh , the Party Central Committee at Tan Trao Base Area, important conferences in the locality, especially the 2nd National Congress of the Party (1951) in Kim Binh commune, Chiem Hoa district (old)...

With its achievements and feats, the Tuyen Quang Provincial Police force has been recognized by the Party and the State, and awarded many noble awards such as: The title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces, the Ho Chi Minh Medal, the Military Exploit Medal, the Resistance Medal to outstanding collectives and individuals. Over the past 20 years, the Movement for the Protection of National Security has had many positive changes. The Festival has truly come to life, becoming a festival of the People, contributing significantly to maintaining security and order, effectively serving the economic and social development in the locality.
Speaking at the ceremony, Provincial Party Secretary Hau A Lenh acknowledged and commended the achievements of the Provincial Police force and the security forces of agencies, enterprises, security and order protection teams at the grassroots level, residential group protection boards, and self-governing mass organizations, who have actively participated in the task of ensuring security and order, making a great contribution to the economic, cultural and social development of the locality.

Faced with the requirements of the new situation, the police force of the whole province needs to continue to promote the achieved results, effectively organize and carry out the tasks of ensuring security and order, building the Party and building a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite, modern force to meet the requirements of the task.
The Provincial Party Secretary requested the Provincial Police force to continue to be exemplary and take the lead in implementing the Party's policies, first of all the Politburo's Resolution on national digital transformation, waste prevention, environmental pollution prevention and policies and resolutions of the province.

Provincial Party Secretary Hau A Lenh also requested Party committees at all levels, authorities, the Fatherland Front, sectors, organizations and all people to actively participate in and promote the movement of All people protecting national security, contributing to firmly protecting national security, maintaining order and social safety in the province.

In recognition of the outstanding achievements of the collectives and individuals of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Police force, on this occasion, the President awarded the Third Class Fatherland Protection Medal to 6 individuals; the Prime Minister awarded Certificates of Merit to 8 individuals; and the Minister of Public Security awarded Certificates of Merit to 3 collectives and 3 individuals.
