On December 2, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee coordinated with the Provincial National Assembly Delegation to organize a meeting between Provincial National Assembly deputies and voters of Kien Xuong and Tien Hai districts.

Comrade Ngo Dong Hai, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, spoke to explain the opinions and recommendations of voters of Kien Xuong district.

Representatives of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation reported to voters on the results of the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly; the results of handling and responding to voters' opinions. Voters expressed their high consensus and agreement with the results of the session; highly appreciated the activities of the Thai Binh Provincial National Assembly Delegation at this session.

Provincial leaders, district leaders and voters attended the meeting in Kien Xuong district.

With a democratic, frank and open spirit, voters raised a number of opinions and recommendations related to the following issues: investment and connection of the Nam Dinh - Hai Phong - Thai Binh - Quang Ninh coastal railway with the North - South high-speed railway to develop the economy and society and in accordance with the Government's policy on developing the Thai Binh Economic Zone; the need for uniformity in textbooks and training programs; the need to issue documents regulating, guiding and unifying the regulations for schools after the merger.

Comrade Nguyen Van Huy, Provincial Party Committee member, Deputy Head of the National Assembly delegation of the province, spoke to explain the opinions of voters of Tien Hai district.

Voters also suggested that there should be policies and regimes for redundant cadres after the rearrangement of commune-level administrative units; construction of high-tech waste treatment plants to solve environmental pollution and ensure people's health; attention and financial support for the Fatherland Front at the grassroots level to carry out the campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas"; policies to support towns in the province to build civilized urban areas; support mechanisms for non-professional activists in villages and residential groups; strengthening the management of toxic chemicals in food preservation and processing; and the need to increase sanctions for handling dirty food trading.

Provincial National Assembly delegates explained and accepted recommendations and proposals to be sent to relevant sectors and localities for consideration, resolution and submission to the National Assembly in the next session.
