New life in resettlement areas of Lang Nu, Nam Tong, Kho Vang

With the close attention of the Party and the State, and timely support from organizations and individuals across the country, one year after the historic flood, the resettlement areas of Lang Nu, Nam Tong, and Kho Vang were built more solidly and safely. New spacious houses, schools, and cultural houses were built, bringing faith in a better future to the people.

Kho Vang village resettlement area is 3.5 hectares wide with 35 houses - providing accommodation for 35 households.

Village chief Ma Seo Chu is the main character in the miraculous escape story of the local households when he and the local Party Committee and government decisively and promptly evacuated the people to the mountains for safe shelter. He shared: Thanks to the help of the Party, the State and the people of the whole country, we were able to stand up and rebuild our lives. The people here will always remember this kindness.
