(NADS) - Hau Giang Provincial Literature and Arts Association issued the Rules of the 2025 Photography Competition, specifically as follows:
First Prize of the Hau Giang Province Art Photography Competition 2024
I. PURPOSE AND REQUIREMENTS
- To create conditions to attract talent in the field of photography, stimulate the creative spirit of artists to create high-quality, high-artistic works of art that have a widespread influence in society;
- Select good works with artistic value to introduce and promote the image of the homeland and people of Hau Giang "Innovation, breakthrough, determination, aspiration" on mass media;
- The contest must be carried out according to the time plan, the content must closely follow the theme. The organization must be appropriate, practical, effective, economical, and ensure fairness.
II. CONTENT AND PARTICIPANTS
1. Content
The 2025 Photography Competition is associated with the theme of Hau Giang province, including:
- Celebrating the Party and the Spring of At Ty year 2025; praising the socio -economic development achievements of Hau Giang province after 20 years of construction and development;
- Typical collectives and individuals studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in daily life, production, work and study;
- Love of homeland, country, people towards the aspiration for prosperity and happiness.
2. Participants
- Is a member and collaborator of the Photography Association of Hau Giang province;
- The author is a cadre, civil servant, public employee and worker living and working in Hau Giang province.
III. REGULATIONS ON COMPETITION WORKS
1. Genre: Art Photography,
Color photos (single photo, size 15x21 cm, not pressed) taken within the administrative boundaries of Hau Giang province. Contest photos must be accompanied by a JPG file; resolution 300px; capacity 6Mb or larger. Works using Photoshop techniques are accepted but must not be cropped to distort the real context. Works that do not use techniques or special effects are encouraged.
2. Quantity: Each author can participate in the contest with a maximum of 20 photos/author and can only use 01 pen name to participate.
3. Conditions
The works participating in the contest must be new creations, with content consistent with the contest theme, have not won any awards from the district level or higher, have no copyright disputes, and the photo captions must be clear, easy to understand, and not violate the nation's customs and traditions. The Jury will not consider awards for works that copy or imitate the ideas of other authors in and outside the province. The author is responsible for copyright and related rights according to the provisions of law. In case of disputes or violations of the law or the Contest Rules, the Organizing Committee will revoke the award and widely announce it on the mass media.
By submitting the work, the author confirms that he/she has accepted the Contest Rules and transferred the right to use it to the Contest Organizing Committee. The works selected for the prize, the Organizing Committee has the right to use for propaganda and promotion without having to pay royalties. The Organizing Committee is not responsible for works that are not submitted on time or are lost during the submission process.
IV. TIME, DOCUMENTS, ADDRESS FOR SENDING AND RECEIVING WORKS
1. Time: The Organizing Committee will receive works from the date of announcement until December 15, 2024 (based on the postmark).
- Organization of work evaluation: End of December 2024.
- Announcement of results and awarding of prizes: At the Opening Ceremony of the Spring Newspaper Festival 2025 (in January 2025),
2. Profile and address for sending and receiving works
- The entry documents include : The entry along with the Information Form (according to the form), all put in an envelope, clearly write " The entry for the 2025 Photography Contest " on the envelope.

V. JURY BOARD, PRIZE STRUCTURE
1. Jury: The Jury is a group of prestigious, experienced and professional people responsible for evaluating the entries, established by the Organizing Committee of the Competition.
2. Prize structure:
- 01 First prize of 4,000,000 VND and Certificate of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee;
- 02 Second prizes of 3,000,000 VND/prize and Certificate of the Literature and Arts Association;
- 03 Third prizes of VND 2,000,000/prize and Certificate of the Literature and Arts Association;
- 05 Consolation prizes of 1,000,000 VND/prize and Certificate of the Literature and Arts Association.
