Mr. Huynh Tan Thanh - Deputy Head of the Propaganda Department of Duy Xuyen District Party Committee said that recently the unit has focused on innovating propaganda work on studying and following Uncle Ho's example.

For example, promoting the advantages of social networks, on the fanpage "Duy Xuyen Propaganda" of the District Party Committee's Propaganda Department and the fanpages of agencies and units such as "Duy Xuyen Police", "Duy Xuyen Youth"... regularly post and share articles about good people and good deeds to spread.

Besides, many schools have built radio programs during recess to spread stories about Uncle Ho, good people and good deeds.

In particular, in 2023, the Propaganda Department of Duy Xuyen District Party Committee organized a writing contest about good people and good deeds in studying and following Uncle Ho. Thereby, it received more than 400 entries with many typical and advanced collectives and individuals with many outstanding achievements in implementing Directive No. 05 of the Politburo .

Mr. Thanh said that Party cells, Party committees, localities and units should strengthen the implementation of learning and following Uncle Ho in many rich and diverse forms through the radio and television system; organize learning and research integrated into commemorative activities of the Front and mass organizations; organize storytelling contests about Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style.

Some party committees assign agency cadres to collect stories about Uncle Ho and topics related to studying and following Uncle Ho's example to inform all agency cadres.

In monthly activities, many Party cells maintain the assignment of Party members to tell stories about Uncle Ho and relate them to the practical situation of the agency or unit.

Regarding promoting the role and responsibility of setting an example of cadres and party members in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle, 100% of cadres and party members completed the registration to set an example...

Recently, Duy Xuyen District Party Committee has focused on building models that are suitable to reality, typical and comprehensive in each field.

Mr. Nguyen Xinh - Head of the Propaganda Department of Duy Xuyen District Party Committee said that in April 2022, the model "The entire political system and people of the district join hands to eliminate temporary houses for local people" was born and left a strong impression.

By June 2023, the entire district will have eliminated all 63/63 temporary houses. Each house will be supported with at least 100 million VND, with an average area of 40 - 136m2, invested in solid construction with reinforced concrete, brick walls, tiled or corrugated iron roofs and ceramic tile floors.

Or the model of "Solidarity, promoting internal strength, exploiting potential and strengths to develop Duy Xuyen more and more comprehensively and sustainably".

Over the past 2 years, Duy Xuyen district has focused on promoting the spirit of solidarity, effectively implementing 3 key, breakthrough tasks throughout the 2020 - 2025 term, which are promoting the development of infrastructure - urban areas, developing tourism and developing human resources.

Thanks to that, production and business activities have developed stably; the new rural construction program has been implemented vigorously, gradually improving the criteria of the new rural district associated with the urbanization process. On the other hand, policies have been promptly resolved, ensuring social security and maintaining national defense and security.

Mr. Nguyen Xinh informed that party organizations, government, Fatherland Front, and grassroots organizations registered a total of 90 typical models to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style.

Particularly from the beginning of 2023 until now, in Duy Xuyen, many more effective models have appeared. For example, the "Bookshelf for Children" of the District Youth Union, the model "Promoting the effectiveness of charity work in the association" of the Veterans Association of Duy Phuoc commune, the model "Raising piggy banks to give love" of Duy Hai commune women, the "Duy Xuyen and Friends" Charity Club in Duy Hoa commune...

"Those models are beautiful flowers in the "flower garden for Uncle Ho", contributing to building the Duy Xuyen District Party Committee to be increasingly clean and strong, joining hands to build the homeland to be more and more beautiful" - Mr. Xinh acknowledged.
