The People's Committee of Da Nang City has just issued a document requesting relevant agencies, units and localities to strengthen management, ensure security and order, and handle the situation of street vendors, stalking and soliciting tourists in order to preserve and promote a civilized, friendly and safe tourism environment in the city.

Accordingly, the City People's Committee requested the People's Committees of localities to direct and strengthen the inspection of compliance with regulations on ensuring the tourism environment, security, order, and traffic safety; regulations on management and public posting of prices and fees for services at tourism service establishments, food establishments, and tourist areas and attractions in the management area.

At the same time, organize inspections and guide tourism businesses, tourist areas and attractions to improve service quality, ensure safety for tourists; strictly handle violations of the law according to regulations.

Strengthen inspection and supervision of food service establishments, places of worship, tourist areas and attractions in the area, to prevent wandering beggars, disguised beggars, street vendors... from clinging to and soliciting customers.

Chairmen of People's Committees of wards and communes shall pay attention to directing and be responsible to the leaders of the City People's Committee for handling the situation of street vendors, wandering beggars, and beggars who follow and solicit tourists in their management areas; ensuring a safe, civilized and friendly tourism environment.
