From noon on July 22, after the storm center passed, due to circulation, in the Co To special economic zone there were high tides, rising water combined with strong winds and big waves.

High tides combined with large waves created large columns of water that overflowed the embankment in front of the Square area in Co To special economic zone.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, the tide level in Co To special zone during this time can peak from 4 to 4.2m, even reaching 4.5m when combined with waves from 3-5m high.

This high tide phenomenon occurred at the same time as the impact of storm No. 3, so the risk level was even more serious. Coastal areas, wharf areas, coastal roads and residential areas near the water's edge were at risk of deep flooding, landslides and infrastructure damage.

Currently, in the Co To special economic zone , there are still strong winds and heavy rains. Therefore, people should not be subjective, negligent, or lose vigilance. People should absolutely not go to sea during this time, and should not gather at embankments and piers during high tides. They should proactively take response measures . At the same time, proactively move people and property out of low-lying areas, especially areas at risk of being isolated; closely monitor weather forecasts and announcements from local authorities.
