Saigon University "reverses" the decision to remove competency assessment scores for 5 majors

(Dan Tri) - At "G-hour", Saigon University (SGU) suddenly announced the re-application of the Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment test scores for 5 majors.

5 majors continue to recruit based on the competency assessment test scores organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University, including: Applied Mathematics, Data Science , History, Geography, and Information - Library.

This notice is adjusted compared with the school's notice 1049/TB-HDTS dated July 25.

Explaining this, the school said that today (July 28), the Center for Testing and Training Quality Assessment, Ho Chi Minh City National University has a framework for converting admission scores according to the Ho Chi Minh City National University's capacity assessment test scores to admission scores according to the 2025 high school graduation exam scores, group A00 and C00.

Therefore, Saigon University has enough basis and will perform equivalent conversion between the two above methods for the school's admission majors that use the capacity assessment method with the original admission combinations being A00, A01, B00, C00, C01, D01.

The school revokes notice No. 1049/TB-HDTS dated July 25.

This announcement was made in the context that there are only a few hours left before the Ministry of Education and Training 's application registration system will close.
