The 8th Congress of Bac Kan Newspaper Party Cell, term 2025-2030

The Bac Kan Newspaper Party Cell is a grassroots Party organization directly under the Provincial Party Committee of Party Agencies, operating under a joint model between two units, the Bac Kan Newspaper and the Provincial Journalists Association Office. Currently, the Party Cell has 27 Party members, 100% of whom are official Party members, accounting for 90% of the total number of cadres and civil servants of the two units.

During the 2020-2025 term, the Party Cell has promoted its comprehensive leadership role well, effectively organized and implemented the Party's directives and resolutions, the State's policies and laws, and successfully completed the assigned political tasks. The content and form of Bac Kan Newspaper have been constantly innovated and improved in quality, contributing positively to the propaganda of the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws to cadres, party members and people of all ethnic groups in the province.

The Party cell pays special attention to political, ideological, moral and lifestyle education for cadres and party members, seriously implementing the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle in conjunction with the implementation of Resolution 4 of the 12th and 13th Central Committees, Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW and Regulation No. 144-QD/TW of the Politburo. From 2021 to present, 576 following Uncle Ho's actions have been registered and effectively implemented by cadres and party members. Many outstanding collectives and individuals have been promptly commended and rewarded.

The Party cell led the Editorial Board and departments to successfully organize the 60th Anniversary of Bac Kan Newspaper's tradition (November 18, 1963 - November 18, 2023), and well carried out social charity work with a total value of more than 570 million VND. The work of Party building, organizational consolidation, apparatus arrangement, and staff streamlining was carried out seriously and in accordance with procedures. The Party cell also actively directed the movement to build cultural agencies, administrative reform, and maintain civilized office lifestyle, contributing to building a united, disciplined, and effective working environment.

During the term, the Party Cell has completed and exceeded 7/8 targets set out in the Resolution. Many collectives and individuals of the unit were commended by the Central and the province, in which in 2022, Bac Kan Newspaper was awarded the Excellent Emulation Flag by the Prime Minister. Particularly in the first 6 months of 2025, many collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in information, propaganda and professional activities were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

During the 2025-2030 term, the Bac Kan Newspaper Party Cell has set the goal of continuing to improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization; building a team of Party members and journalists with strong political will, clear professional ethics, expertise, and mastery of technology. The Party Cell strives to build Bac Kan Newspaper to meet the requirements of press innovation in the digital transformation period.

The Party cell sets specific goals such as 100% of cadres and party members fully studying the Party's directives and resolutions; the rate of party members completing their tasks well each year is 90% or more; the Party cell achieves the title of completing tasks well or better; ensuring the maintenance of printed newspapers, electronic newspapers and multimedia press products in accordance with the Thai Nguyen - Bac Kan Press Merger Project. At the same time, the Party cell strives to have press works that win awards at the provincial and central levels every year; maintaining the title of strong cultural agencies and mass organizations; ensuring that 100% of cadres' and party members' families achieve the title of cultural families.

The Congress identified three key and breakthrough programs of the term: building a modern press agency following the model of convergent press, operating effectively according to KPI assessment; promoting digital transformation of press according to Resolution 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo; developing press economy, increasing investment resources for technology and human resources.

The Congress voted to pass the Congress Resolution with high consensus of all Party members./.
