The 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, was a great success.

On August 4 and 5, the Party Committee of Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee solemnly held the 1st Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

Attending and directing the congress were comrades: Hau A Lenh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Le Thi Kim Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, former Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Phan Huy Ngoc,   Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades in the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Provincial Party Committee; leaders of the Provincial People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee, National Assembly Delegation; leaders of affiliated Party Committees, leaders of departments, branches, units and 299 official delegates who are exemplary Party members representing more than 8,500 Party members of 69 grassroots Party organizations under the Provincial People's Committee Party Committee.

In the 2020-2025 term, in the context of many difficulties and challenges, under the leadership of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee, the Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee have united, led, directed, and operated resolutely, proactively, and creatively, making efforts to overcome many difficulties and challenges, contributing to the successful implementation of most of the targets of the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025. The province's economy continues to grow and develop; national defense, security, social order and safety are maintained and strengthened; potentials and advantages in agriculture and forestry are promoted; development of transport infrastructure has achieved important results.

The cultural and social fields are given attention; proactive, flexible and effective in preventing natural disasters and epidemics. The work of building the Party and the political system is given attention and achieved many important results; the organization is streamlined and operates effectively and efficiently. The work of political, ideological and ethical education is given attention; the leadership capacity and fighting strength of Party committees and organizations at all levels and the quality of Party activities are increasingly improved...

The congress has   has set out the direction, goals, tasks and solutions for the 2025 - 2030 term. Therein, focusing on improving the leadership capacity and fighting strength of Party organizations; building a strong and comprehensive Party organization; promoting democracy, maintaining discipline and order; promoting digital transformation, applying science and technology; continuing to perfect and arrange the apparatus to be streamlined, strong, efficient, effective and efficient; building and perfecting state management tools according to authority to create a safe, serving and accompanying development environment; proactively advising on the implementation of breakthroughs and key tasks of the province; effectively exploiting the potential and advantages of the province; developing enterprises to become the driving force for socio-economic development of the province.

The annual target is that over 90% of organizations, agencies, and units complete their tasks well or better; over 90% of cadres, party members, civil servants, and public employees complete their tasks well or better; in the period of attracting 6 million tourists; the state budget revenue in the area strives to reach 16,000 billion VND; the average gross regional domestic product (GRDP) per capita (current price) reaches 95 million VND/person/year, the poverty rate according to the national poverty standard decreases by an average of 3%/year...

Speaking at the Congress, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan Huy Ngoc emphasized that the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, took place at a time of great significance; after 40 years of renovation, the country's foundation, potential and position have been raised to a new level.

In particular, from July 1, 2025, along with localities across the country, the new Tuyen Quang province has officially entered a new development phase, operating a 2-level local government model with new scale, space, position and development opportunities.

In that context, the Congress has the task of summarizing   implementation of tasks for the 2020-2025 term; deciding on directions, goals, tasks and solutions for the 2025-2030 term; reviewing the leadership and direction of the Party Executive Committee; discussing and contributing opinions to draft documents submitted to the 18th Provincial Party Congress and the 14th National Party Congress.

Speaking at the Congress, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hau A Lenh acknowledged and commended the achievements that the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee had achieved in the past term. He suggested that in the coming period, the Party Committee Standing Committee, the Party Executive Committee and all Party members should continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, unity, democracy, and discipline; improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party; build a clean and strong Party organization in all aspects; lead the implementation of political tasks well, build a clean and strong Party organization in all aspects, meeting the requirements of rapid and sustainable development in the new era.

Immediately after the Congress, the Provincial Party Committee urgently led and directed the concretization of the goals, targets, tasks and solutions that the Congress had resolved; developed and implemented the Working Regulations; Action Program to implement the Resolution; promoted propaganda, dissemination and popularization of the results of the Congress and the Resolution of the Congress in a serious, methodical, synchronous and effective manner right from the beginning of the term with the determination to successfully implement the set targets and tasks...

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan Huy Ngoc presented flowers to former Standing members, members of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, members of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term who stopped participating in the 2025 - 2030 term.

At the Congress, the decision to appoint the Party Executive Committee consisting of 33 comrades, the Party Committee Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term was announced; and the Decision of the Provincial Party Standing Committee to appoint the Delegation to attend the 18th Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Congress, including 40 official delegates and 1 alternate delegate, was announced.
