Delegates performed the flag-saluting ceremony to open the Patriotic Emulation Congress.

Compete to innovate, create, accelerate breakthroughs

Speaking at the opening of the Congress, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Emulation and Reward Council Phan Huy Ngoc emphasized: The first Patriotic Emulation Congress of Tuyen Quang province has a particularly important significance. The Congress evaluates the results of the emulation movement over the past 5 years; draws lessons; determines directions, tasks and solutions for the period 2025 - 2030; at the same time, honors advanced models, affirms the will and determination of the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in the province, competes to successfully implement the goals of the Provincial Party Congress Resolution, and builds Tuyen Quang to develop quite well, comprehensively and sustainably in the Northern Midlands and Mountains region by 2030.

Over the past years, the patriotic emulation movement in the province has had many innovations, increasingly developing deeply and widely in all levels, sectors, organizations, enterprises, people of all walks of life and armed forces. The movements are closely linked to "Studying and following the ideology, morality and style of Ho Chi Minh ", creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere, arousing the will to rise up of cadres, party members and people in the whole province.

The first Patriotic Emulation Congress of Tuyen Quang province has the theme: "Emulating innovation, creativity, accelerating breakthroughs to build Tuyen Quang province to develop rapidly and sustainably".

During the past term, patriotic emulation movements in Tuyen Quang have developed strongly and widely throughout society, creating a driving force to promote socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, contributing to the successful completion of many important goals of the province. Notably, the province has completed the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses for 15,064 households; completed the Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho expressway; launched a "3-shift, 4-team" construction emulation movement with the motto "Through holidays, through Tet, through holidays", "Overcoming the sun to overcome the rain, not losing to the wind and storms" to strive to bring the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang expressway to the finish line before December 31, 2025...

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan Huy Ngoc delivered a closing speech at the Congress.

In the field of agriculture and forestry, the province maintains stable food security, develops sustainable forestry economy with nearly 90,000 hectares of planted forests certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), leading the country. Tourism has made strong progress, gradually becoming an important economic sector. The province was honored as "Asia's Leading Emerging Tourist Destination in 2023", "Asia's Leading Regional Cultural Destination in 2024"...

In the past 5 years, over 27,000 groups and individuals have been awarded for their outstanding achievements in labor, production and work.

In the 2025-2030 period, the Congress set out 16 main socio-economic targets to 2030; specific tasks and main solutions to organize the Patriotic Emulation movement and reward work in the 2026-2030 period.

Building Tuyen Quang to develop fairly, comprehensively, sustainably, with high average income

Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Hau A Lenh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, acknowledged and commended the outstanding achievements of all levels, sectors and localities in all fields; commended 220 typical and advanced delegates attending the Congress.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Le Thi Kim Dung awarded the Third Class Labor Medal to individuals.

To successfully implement the goals for the 2025 - 2030 period, the Provincial Party Secretary requested all levels, sectors and localities in the coming time to further promote the patriotic emulation movement in all aspects of work; compete together to achieve the strategic goals set by the Provincial Party Committee; strive to make Tuyen Quang a fairly developed, comprehensive, sustainable province with high average income by 2030.

Party committees, authorities, each cadre, party member and citizen focus on performing well the following tasks: Strengthening the thorough understanding of the Party's directives, resolutions, conclusions, and the State's policies and laws on emulation and rewards, especially thoroughly understanding President Ho Chi Minh's ideology of great solidarity; competing for breakthroughs in economic development, creating "new space" for growth; competing to develop culture and society, improving people's lives associated with improving life, creating happiness for the people; competing to build a streamlined, effective, efficient, and people-oriented apparatus; competing to discover and replicate typical examples, "good people, good deeds"...

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Ma The Hong awarded Certificates of Merit of the Provincial People's Committee Chairman to individuals.

The delegation attending the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress introduced themselves to the Congress and received congratulatory flowers from the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee.

The Congress launched the emulation movement for the period 2025 - 2030. At the Congress, the Second Class Labor Medal was awarded to 9 individuals; the Third Class Labor Medal was awarded to 23 individuals; the Government's Emulation Flag was awarded to the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee and the Prime Minister's Certificate of Merit was awarded to 6 individuals; the Provincial People's Committee Chairman's Certificate of Merit was awarded to 24 groups and 23 individuals with outstanding achievements in emulation movements.
