Dak Nong safely detonates 334kg bomb

Previously, while clearing fields, people in village 3, Quang Tan commune, Tuy Duc district discovered an object suspected to be a bomb and reported it to the authorities.

Immediately upon receiving the news, Tuy Duc district authorities coordinated with local authorities to send forces to the scene, block off the area suspected of being a bomb, put up signs marking dangerous areas, and organized 24/7 vigilance.

Through information verification, it was determined that the above object was a bomb (explosive bomb, type MK - 750 LB -GP M117) 1.2m long, 30cm in diameter, weighing about 334 kg.

Tuy Duc district authorities coordinated with local authorities to block off and remove the bomb from the scene.

After collecting, on February 26, the district military force coordinated with the Engineering Department, Dak Nong Provincial Military Command to transport it to the training ground in Duc Xuyen commune, Krong No district to handle and destroy it according to regulations, ensuring absolute safety for people and property.
