The 2024 New Year and Lunar New Year holidays are long, and the number of visitors coming to visit and relax is forecast to increase, so from this point on, the Management Board of Doi Duong - Tien Thanh Tourist Area has requested businesses and resorts to have plans and solutions to safely welcome guests.
Doi Duong - Tien Thanh tourist area is a "highlight" of tourism, entertainment, and sports of the coastal city of Phan Thiet and tourists from other provinces on holidays and weekends. In particular, Thuong Chanh sea park has been basically completed, a large space with a square, sports field and many other services, will satisfy the entertainment needs of tourists at the end of the year.
Mr. Truong Anh Kiet - Deputy Head of Doi Duong - Tien Thanh Tourist Area Management Board said: To ensure good management and service for people and tourists during the New Year and Lunar New Year holidays, the Management Board has requested tourism service businesses and resorts to have a thorough and safe preparation plan. In particular, pay special attention to rescue work to ensure safety for tourists at beaches and swimming pools. Posting beach bathing regulations, placing warning flags on the sea, telling beachgoers to check the tide in advance, ensuring safety for tourists. Focus on on-site rescue such as having rescue forces, round life buoys, life buoys and ropes, poles, etc.
At the same time, establishments must re-check the electrical system and equipment to ensure fire prevention and security. Instruct security forces to patrol around their areas to promptly prevent, detect and handle violations that affect the safety of life and property of tourists, and strictly implement the work of registering accommodation for tourists according to regulations.
To build the destination image, the Management Board also requires tourism businesses and resorts to stabilize prices, list prices and sell at the listed prices. Check labels, expiry dates, and origins of goods before using them to ensure that food poisoning does not occur. Decorate with LED lights on trees, hang national flags, banners, and slogans to create liveliness and brilliance in front of the facility during the New Year, Lunar New Year and the anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam on February 3, 2024. As well as increase inspections and remind the Cleaning Team to sweep and collect garbage in the Doi Duong - Thuong Chanh area.
With the proactive plans of the Doi Duong - Tien Thanh Tourist Area Management Board, it will contribute to building the image of Phan Thiet city into a green, clean, beautiful, safe and friendly destination in the eyes of local people and tourists from near and far.
In 2023, Doi Duong - Tien Thanh Tourist Area will welcome more than 1 million visitors to stay, visit, swim and picnic, an increase of 22% compared to 2022. Of which, Doi Duong - Thuong Chanh Park will welcome about 795,000 visitors, while Tien Thanh Tourist Area will welcome more than 260,000 visitors.
