A company was fined 15 million VND for posting illegal online advertisements.

Accordingly, Dentsu Services Company Limited (Vietnam) placed the brand's advertising product on the YouTube social network channel The Jimmy TV on October 18, 2024. The advertisement contained content that violated the law as prescribed in Clause 1, Article 8 of the Law on Cyber ​​Security.

Dentsu Services Company Limited (Vietnam) was fined 15 million VND.

Provisions in Clause 2a, Article 38 of Decree No. 38/2021/ND-CP are amended and supplemented at Point b, Clause 13, Article 4 of Decree No. 129/2021/ND-CP dated December 30, 2021 of the Government amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Decrees regulating administrative sanctions in the fields of tourism; sports ; copyright; related rights; culture and advertising.

For the above violations, the Department of Radio, Television and Electronic Information issued Decision No. 182/QD-PTTH&TTDT, administratively fined Dentsu Services Company (Vietnam) VND 15 million and forced the removal of the illegal advertisement on YouTube.
