Hanoi Medical University has just announced the list of 178 candidates who passed the entrance exam and are eligible for direct admission. Of these, 128 students were admitted directly to the Faculty of Medicine; 20 students were admitted to the Faculty of Psychology, of which 19 were excellent students in Literature, History, and Geography; 16 students were admitted to the Faculty of Medicine at Thanh Hoa branch. The remaining faculties directly admitted from 1 to 5 students depending on the major.

Candidates who are admitted directly must confirm their admission online on the common system of the Ministry of Education and Training before 5:00 p.m. on July 31.

In 2024, Hanoi Medical University will enroll students through 4 methods: Direct admission, Admission based on high school graduation exam scores, Admission combining graduation exam scores with international language certificates, Admission based on Hanoi National University's competency assessment test scores (HSA).

With the admission method based on high school graduation exam results, for the first time, Hanoi Medical University recruits the D01 combination (Math, Literature, English) for Public Health and Psychology; C00 (Literature, History, Geography) for Psychology instead of only recruiting with the B00 combination (Math, Chemistry, Biology) like previous years.

With the admission method combining graduation exam scores with international language certificates, the school only applies to the majors of Medicine, Dentistry, and Advanced Nursing programs in which IELTS must be 6.5 or higher; Advanced Nursing programs require 5.0 or higher.

Also according to the school's announcement, tuition fees for the next school year range from 15 to 55.2 million VND/year, the highest being for Medicine and Traditional Medicine.

Why does Hanoi Medical University use block C and D for admission? 2024 is the first year that Hanoi Medical University uses the combination C00 (Literature, History, Geography) and D01 (Math, Literature, English) for admission. The school representative said that the school has researched, compared and consulted with relevant parties.
