Training in fish breeding in Hoi Am craft village for 50 students

Hai Phong City Cooperative Union opened a 2025 fish seed farming class at Hoi Am fish seed production village, Vinh Am commune, attracting 50 students to participate.

This is an activity to concretize Plan No. 198 of the City People's Committee on training human resources for craft villages and traditional occupations in Hai Phong city in the period of 2023 - 2025, Plan No. 140 of the City Cooperative Union on training human resources for craft villages and traditional occupations in Hai Phong city in 2025.

Delegates visited the fish pond at Hoi Am fish breeding village, Vinh Am commune.

The course was held for nearly 1 month, with 2 classes, each class had 25 students. The training content included pond preparation techniques, fish fry rearing, care techniques, disease prevention and treatment for fish fry, and the process of selecting and releasing fish fry to achieve high productivity. This is practical knowledge, helping people apply scientific and technical advances to production, improving economic efficiency.

Hoi Am fish seed production village.

Hoi Am fish seed production village has a tradition of more than 45 years of formation and development, currently has 126 households with nearly 250 workers directly involved in production. The total production area is more than 21 hectares, providing about 11,000 - 12,000 fish seeds to the market each year, earning an average of about 300 million VND/ha/year.

Hoi Am's fish fingerling products are recognized with the collective trademark "Hoi Am Fish Fingerlings", contributing to building the brand for one of the city's typical craft villages.
