Investing nearly 1,500 billion VND to improve Gia Nghia urban environment

On March 21, Vice Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee Le Trong Yen signed Decision No. 405/QD-UBND approving the Project to improve the urban environment of type 2 cities - Dak Nong province component.

The project's construction site is Gia Nghia City and the investor is the City People's Committee. This is a group B project, investing in level III urban infrastructure and traffic works.

Gia Nghia City has been invested 1,500 billion VND to carry out an urban beautification project and improve the environment to adapt to climate change.

The project has a specific goal of improving the infrastructure of the Central Lake, Thien Nga Lake, the flood mitigation system, climate change, ensuring the welfare of about 40,000 households. The project contributes to connecting traffic in the urban area on both sides of the Central Lake, contributing to the urban beautification of Gia Nghia in the direction of green, clean, beautiful...

The total investment of the project is more than 1,499 billion VND. Of which, the cost of site clearance is more than 192 billion VND, the construction cost is nearly 899 billion VND...

Investment capital comes from loans from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and local budget counterpart funds. Of which, ADB loans are nearly VND1,002 billion, the remaining VND497 billion comes from the budget of Gia Nghia City People's Committee.

Gia Nghia urban area will be improved in environmental sanitation and technical infrastructure construction.

This is the project with the largest investment budget in Gia Nghia City so far. The project invests in many works to improve the lake bed, drainage system, roads and bridges... in the central area of ​​Gia Nghia City.

The project is expected to improve environmental sanitation conditions, build Gia Nghia urban technical infrastructure to adapt to climate change, and promote sustainable socio -economic development.
