Nguyen Ngoc Tu Van, a student at Huynh Thuc Khang High School, said that this year's English exam was not too difficult and was within the students' ability. Compared to last year's exam, the difficulty level was similar. Tu Van is not very good at English but is still confident of getting 7 points or higher.

Ta Quang Minh, a student at Nhan Chinh High School, also shared that this year's exam was quite easy, within the students' ability, and even easier than last year's. "This exam felt even easier than the sample exam that the Ministry of Education and Training had previously announced," Minh said.

Duong Quynh Anh, a student at Nguyen Trai High School, said she was confident that she got about 90% correct. “English is my strong subject, so I was very comfortable and confident with this test. The test wasn’t too difficult compared to the ones I had practiced before. There were about 5 questions that were a bit difficult to classify candidates, but I was still confident that I could do well.”

Minh certainly got about 45-46 out of 50 questions correct. With this test, Minh is confident that he can get a score of 9 or higher and hopes to be admitted to Hanoi University of Pharmacy.

Pham Gia Huy, a student at Nhan Chinh High School, commented that compared to last year's English test, this year's test was relatively easy as there were not many new vocabulary words appearing. Some types of questions from last year also did not appear in this year's test.

Huy liked the topics of all three readings, which were related to littering in the marine environment, the impact of technology on students from an expert's perspective, and the differences in his own personality compared to others.

"These contents are quite close and directly related to many issues that young people are interested in, so when I did the exercises, I felt very excited," Huy said.

With this test, Huy did it within 15 minutes and confidently got over 9 points.

The 2024 high school graduation exam will be organized basically stably as in the 2020-2023 period. Accordingly, the Ministry of Education and Training has given general instructions, with provinces/centrally-run cities taking the lead in all exam organization work in their localities.

The examination councils will organize the exams on June 26, 27, 28 and 29; mark the exams from June 29; announce the exam results at 8:00 a.m. on July 17, and consider recognizing high school graduation on July 19.
