Proposed solutions to improve the quality of administrative reform

On September 19, at the Royal Plaza Center, Minh Xuan Ward, the Ministry of Science and Technology held a training conference on administrative reform in 2025.

During the 2021 - 2025 period, the Ministry of Science and Technology has achieved many outstanding results: Submitting to the National Assembly for approval 9 laws, 1 resolution; The Government issued 31 decrees; The Prime Minister issued 13 decisions; The Ministry issued 186 circulars. The Ministry has evaluated and appraised hundreds of administrative procedures, reduced and simplified many procedures, and published 737 procedures in 53 legal documents. The online public service system of the Ministry of Science and Technology has been put into operation, connected to the National Public Service Portal, helping people and businesses access quickly and conveniently.

The delegation of the Ministry of Science and Technology visited the two-level local government model in Nong Tien ward.

In particular, after merging the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Information and Communications in 2025, the Ministry of Science and Technology has urgently reorganized and rearranged to 24/42 units (a reduction of 42.85%). At the same time, implementing the mechanism of spending allocation, increasing autonomy in public finance; promoting the construction of e-Government, digital Government with 100% of eligible online public services provided in full, the rate of on-time processing records reaching over 90%.

At the Conference, delegates listened to presentations from units under the Ministry, frankly acknowledging limitations and difficulties and proposing solutions to improve the quality of administrative reform in the coming time.

In the afternoon of the same day, delegates attending the training conference visited the two-level local government model in Nong Tien ward and Thai Binh commune.
