The special national relic of Ngu Hanh Son jubilantly opened the Quan The Am festival

On the evening of March 16, at the special national relic of Ngu Hanh Son, the People's Committee of Da Nang City held the opening ceremony of the Quan The Am festival - the largest religious and spiritual cultural event of Da Nang City.

Taking place from March 16 to 19 (February 17 to 20 of the lunar calendar), this year's festival program has many rich activities that promise to attract tens of thousands of Buddhists, people and tourists to visit and worship. On March 16 and 17, the organizing committee will perform the opening ceremony of the Thuong Nguyen - Thuong Phuc Sutra; exhibit fine arts, paintings, calligraphy and launch the special issue of Diep Am Quan The Am festival ; open the festival of folk cultural activities; offer incense to commemorate Princess Huyen Tran; spring ceremony to pray for national peace and prosperity, art program to welcome the festival with the theme "Shining the jade lotus platform"...

The Quan The Am Festival aims to honor the national intangible cultural heritage values ​​of the festival.

At 7:00 a.m. on March 18, the main ceremony of the festival is the Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara's birthday ceremony, expected to welcome tens of thousands of people to participate with wishes for a peaceful and prosperous country, and for the people to be happy and peaceful. This year's ceremony will be broadcast live for people across the country to watch. On March 18, there will be a traditional boat racing festival, a Vietnamese vegetarian culinary space, an artistic kite performance, an art program, a lotus lantern meditation procession, etc. The closing ceremony will take place on March 19 with jogging and walking activities for peace in 2025.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, Vice Chairwoman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, Head of the festival organizing committee, said that 2025 is the third year the festival has been organized at the city level. This is one of the unique cultural features of the Ngu Hanh Son region, contributing to making Da Nang a city of events and festivals. Ms. Thi said that the festival is a harmonious combination of religion and ethnicity, an opportunity to promote the image of cultural products, tourism , and people of Da Nang, attract tourists, and expand international cooperation and exchange in the cultural field.
