28-year-old girl suffers from beauty disaster after getting "fortune eyebrows" tattooed

(Dan Tri) - After getting her eyebrows tattooed for luck in the hopes of success in her career and a happy family, the girl ended up in a state of beauty disaster, to the point of losing confidence every time she looked in the mirror.

More than 2 years ago, Ms. TTM (28 years old, living in Khanh Hoa province) decided to get her eyebrows tattooed with a fortune and feng shui design for more than 10 million VND at a beauty salon, after seeing advertisements on social networks.

The girl believes that eyebrow correction will help open up fortune, success in work, and family happiness.

“The beauty salon promises to use the highest quality Korean ink on the market, painless and with a lifetime warranty. However, after only 2 months, the blue-black tattoo ink has faded, started to turn blue-gray, and the color patches are peeling off, very uncomfortable.

Even though I went back to have the color touched up many times, the condition did not improve. In fact, my eyebrows became more patchy and dark,” M. said.

Believing that changing her eyebrow shape would help improve her appearance and fortune, after getting the tattoo, she was not only disappointed with the cosmetic results but also felt a loss of confidence every time she looked in the mirror.

Recently, she went to a medical facility in Ho Chi Minh City to find a way to deal with her "disaster" beauty condition.

Through assessing the condition of the tattoo, specialist doctor Nguyen Thi Kim Dung, Head of the Dermatology - Skin Aesthetics Unit of the above facility, noted that Ms. M's eyebrow tattoo had uneven color, blurred ink, lost sharpness, and had a slight keloid scar due to incorrect tattoo removal technique.

The doctor prescribed Ms. M. to remove her eyebrow tattoo with a pico laser, a course of 6-8 sessions, combining techniques to minimize the impact on the natural structure of the skin, reduce post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and the burning sensation when removing the tattoo. At the same time, the girl was advised on post-tattoo removal care and sun protection.

After 3 laser treatments, M's eyebrows are now stable and the tattoo ink has faded significantly.

According to Dr. Dung, eyebrow tattooing according to feng shui according to destiny needs to be carefully considered, should not be done if just following the trend or blindly believing in luck.

In particular, people with sensitive skin, atopic dermatitis or allergies to tattoo ink need to be careful because they can easily experience complications such as contact dermatitis, prolonged redness and itching, and even infection due to substandard tattoo equipment.

In addition, using poor quality ink or poor technician skills can also make the eyebrow shape not as beautiful as expected, the blue or red tattoo color is very difficult to edit later.

"Do not be subjective when the skin in the eyebrow area shows signs of swelling, redness, blisters, discharge, discoloration or itching after tattooing or tattoo removal. Arbitrarily applying drugs of unknown origin or continuing to intervene at low-quality spas can cause further skin damage.
