In which, the First Prize belonged to Nguyen Ngoc Duy, Vinh Phuc High School for the Gifted. According to the Organizing Committee's assessment, Duy was always calm, confident and committed to the difficult questions and topics of Artificial Intelligence. Sharing with Dan Tri reporter, Ngoc Duy said that he was very surprised and happy when he won the first prize. "During the research process, I encountered many difficulties and almost gave up because of my limited knowledge, but I had close support from my teachers and family. The teachers helped me search for information online and asked for advice from professors and doctors from some universities in Hanoi to help me overcome it. Because the field of artificial intelligence is so vast and I still have many shortcomings, I did not think I would win the first prize," Duy confided. It is known that before participating in the 2023 Artificial Intelligence competition, Duy had participated in a provincial-level Science and Technology project, more or less he has practical experience for the competition. "When I visited Hanoi, I noticed that the streets here had lines for the disabled, but these priorities were still limited, and many times the disabled had to walk on the street. With the guidance of my teacher and guidance from my parents, I chose to study artificial intelligence to apply to machines, helping to improve the lives of people around me, including the disabled," said this male student.

Mr. Phung Van Kiem, Ngoc Duy's instructor, shared that there were many difficulties in the process of participating in this contest. According to Mr. Kiem, he lacked Vietnamese documents, lacked experts to consult, lacked experience and lacked necessary experience. However, thanks to the efforts, both teachers and students achieved outstanding success. The contest was launched and coordinated by VLAB Innovation Organization, on a national scale to honor typical and excellent thinking and inventions, contributing effectively to the creation of a civilized and modern society. The contest took place in three rounds, with content based on topics revolving around Artificial Intelligence. After 9 months, the contest received thousands of entries from 240 high schools in 63 provinces and cities across the country.
