On the afternoon of September 20, the 30th Bay Nui Bull Racing Festival for the An Giang Television Cup in 2025, organized by the Department of Culture and Sports in coordination with An Giang Newspaper, Radio and Television and the People's Committee of Tri Ton commune, at the bull racing ground of Tri Ton commune (Ta Pa - Soai Chek Sports - Tourism Complex) ended successfully.

The pairs of bulls compete in the round of 16 and semi-finals.

After 60 qualifying rounds, the 4 best pairs of bulls were determined to compete in the semi-finals.

In the first semi-final, right from the start, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung controlled the pair of oxen number 09 of Mr. Chau Khon (Ba Chuc commune) to overtake pair of oxen number 20 (Tinh Bien ward), "speeding" to the finish line, winning the right to enter the final.

Meanwhile, the pair of oxen of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thuy Ngoc, number 30, Tinh Bien ward, also registered their name to play in the final match of the tournament, with a lightning-fast sprint.

Mr. Nguyen Van Lam's pair of oxen numbered 59 (Ba Chuc commune) won the third place match.

In the third place match, the pair of oxen of Mr. Nguyen Van Lam, number 59 (Ba Chuc commune) won, taking third prize, with a total prize value of 15 million VND. The pair of oxen of Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tieng, number 50 (Tinh Bien ward) took fourth prize, with a total prize value of 10 million VND.

In the final round, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung, driving the pair of oxen number 09 (Ba Chuc commune), surpassed Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thuy Ngoc's pair of oxen number 30 to come in first, winning the championship, with a total prize value of 30 million VND. In addition, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung won the award for "Best oxen driver of the tournament".

This year's Bull Racing Festival has 64 pairs of bulls from the communes of Tri Ton, Ba Chuc, O Lam, Co To, Vinh Gia, An Cu, Nui Cam, Giang Thanh and the 2 wards of Chi Lang and Tinh Bien competing.

The event was broadcast live on ATV1, ATV2 channels of An Giang Provincial Newspaper and Radio - Television; live on HTV Sports channel of Ho Chi Minh City Television. At the same time, it was rebroadcast by Dao and Radio - Television of provinces and cities across the country.
