The Central Presidium of the Vietnam Women's Union organizes activities to return to the source

On the morning of August 18, the Central Presidium of the Vietnam Women's Union (VWU) led by Comrade Nguyen Thi Tuyen, Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, President of the Vietnam Women's Union, visited and presented gifts to orphans in difficult circumstances on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival and the opening of the new school year 2025-2026.

Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, President of the Vietnam Women's Union Nguyen Thi Tuyen offered incense at Na Nua hut.

The delegation offered incense at the Tan Trao Special National Relic Site, including: President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Site; "Uncle Ho in Tan Trao" Monument; Tan Trao Commemorative Temple; Na Nua hut and revolutionary predecessors; Visiting the Memorial stele where the Central Office of the Vietnam Women's Union lived and worked from 1952 to 1954 in Lung Bung village, Tan Trao commune. Before the heroic spirit of President Ho Chi Minh and revolutionary predecessors, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, President of the Vietnam Women's Union Nguyen Thi Tuyen and the delegates expressed their respect and infinite gratitude for the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh and revolutionary predecessors, the steadfast, indomitable communist soldiers who fought all their lives for national independence, national reunification, for freedom and happiness of the people.

At the places visited, the delegation was introduced to the venue of the National Congress meeting to decide on the General Uprising to seize power throughout the country; to approve 10 major policies of the Viet Minh; to stipulate the National Flag and National Anthem and to elect the Vietnam National Liberation Committee, i.e. the provisional government with leader Ho Chi Minh as President.
