Recently, on Vietnam Airlines flight VN62 departing from Moscow (Russia) to Hanoi, a 55-year-old male passenger of Russian nationality had health problems about two hours after takeoff.
As soon as the flight attendants discovered that the passenger was showing signs of dizziness and fatigue, they quickly implemented emergency response procedures, performed first aid such as assisting in moving the passenger to a separate area, instructing them to lie down in a suitable position, and simultaneously broadcast to seek medical assistance from other passengers.
Notably, the flight had the presence of 4 doctors from the high-ranking working delegation of the Russian Ministry of Health to Vietnam.
Upon receiving the request for assistance, the doctors quickly approached and closely coordinated with Vietnam Airlines flight attendants to examine, consult and provide timely medical intervention measures for the passenger.
After receiving initial medical care, the passenger was transferred to the Premium Economy cabin to rest in more favorable conditions.
During the remainder of the flight, the flight crew and doctors continued to closely monitor the passengers' health.
When the plane landed at Noi Bai International Airport, the passengers' health was stable.
Recently, Vietnam Airlines has recorded a number of cases of passengers experiencing health problems while flying, forcing the airline to take emergency measures such as making an emergency landing at the nearest airport to provide timely first aid to passengers./.
