Vice Chairman of Thanh Loi Commune People's Committee - Huynh Ngoc An spoke at the meeting

Vice Chairman of Thanh Loi Commune People's Committee - Huynh Ngoc An said: "Before July 1, 2025, the Commune Steering Committee operated very well. However, after July 1, the Commune Steering Committee no longer exists, members of the Commune Steering Committee were assigned to other jobs or retired due to organizational restructuring. The Chairman of the Commune People's Committee will temporarily take over the direction. In the coming time, the Commune People's Committee will complete and re-establish the Steering Committee to successfully organize the 2025 Rural and Agricultural Census in the area."

Statistics Team No. 7 is in charge of 5 communes: Thanh Loi, Binh Duc, Luong Hoa, Ben Luc and My Yen. In general, the communes have just been put into operation since July 1, so the implementation of the General Census is still facing some difficulties in organization and implementation.

Deputy Director of the General Statistics Office - Nguyen Trung Tien gave a directive speech

However, with the strong direction from the commune leaders, up to now, 166 investigation areas have organized and started collecting information as planned. The total number of households engaged in agriculture, forestry and fishery in the 5 communes is 15,581 households (accounting for 41.66%).

The head of the Statistics Team No. 7 - Nguyen Tuan Linh said: "The civil servants of the old commune statistics office no longer work at the new commune statistics office, the statistical tasks are not clear, so there is a lack of contact points, advice, and urging the implementation of the General Census for the locality. In the coming time, the Team recommends that leaders at all levels and sectors continue to advise the Provincial People's Committee to complete the Steering Committee of the new communes to successfully implement the General Census."

The working group directly supervised the information collection process.

At the meeting, Deputy Director of the General Statistics Office - Nguyen Trung Tien shared the difficulties with localities in operating and organizing the apparatus after the merger.
