Delegation of the Propaganda Department of Guangdong Provincial Party Committee, China visited and worked at Ho Chi Minh Museum

On the morning of June 27, in Hanoi, a delegation of the Propaganda Department of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee, China, led by Mr. Tran Hieu Kien, Deputy Head of the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Guangdong Provincial Civilization Office, visited and worked at the Ho Chi Minh Museum. Receiving the delegation, on the side of the Ho Chi Minh Museum, Vietnam, was Dr. Vu Manh Ha, Party Secretary, Director of the Museum, and representatives of leaders of a number of specialized departments under the Museum.

At the meeting, Mr. Tran Hieu Kien, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Head of the Guangdong Provincial Civilization Office, expressed his emotion and respect when visiting the Ho Chi Minh Museum, which preserves and introduces the life and great revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh: “After visiting the Ho Chi Minh Museum, we understand more about the extremely glorious and noble life of President Ho Chi Minh. That makes us respect and admire him even more. Through the artifacts and documents displayed at the Museum, especially the contents related to the time President Ho Chi Minh worked in Guangdong, we feel the historical connection between the two nations. Hopefully, the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the provincial agencies and the Ho Chi Minh Museum will have opportunities to exchange and cooperate in specialized fields such as media, publishing, document digitization, etc. in the near future to contribute to fostering the friendship between the two Parties, the two States and the two peoples of China and China. Talking to the delegation, Dr. Vu Manh Ha, Party Secretary and Director of the Ho Chi Minh Museum, was pleased to welcome the delegation of the Propaganda Department of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee, China, to visit and work at the Ho Chi Minh Museum: “President Ho Chi Minh and many revolutionary predecessors of Vietnam used to work in Guangdong, China. Preserving and promoting the value of revolutionary relics in Guangdong is of special importance in the work of educating traditions and fostering friendship between the two peoples, especially in 2025, the year of Vietnam-China cultural exchange, commemorating the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. The Ho Chi Minh Museum hopes that in the coming time, it will coordinate with the Propaganda Department of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee and relevant agencies in implementing scientific research, publishing, exchange and cooperation activities…”

Within the framework of the working session, the delegation of the Propaganda Department of the Guangdong Provincial Party Committee, China visited the permanent exhibition space of the Museum and listened to an introduction about the life and revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh.

Showing respect and spirit of friendly cooperation, Ho Chi Minh Museum and the Propaganda Department of Guangdong Provincial Party Committee presented each other souvenirs. This symbolizes the good relationship between the two sides, and opens up opportunities for cooperation, exchange and coordination in the future.
